Great climbing walls. Auto belay system. $10/hr, which is the best price in Austin for indoor climbing. About 4 months ago, Main event Austin received all the climbing hardware that was slated for another Main Event, that was cancelled mid project. This is one of the reasons the walls are so good, they received 2x the normal amount of wall hardware, giving the route designers a lot of flexibility and options. The rental harnesses are decent Petzl, but I would recommend bringing your own climbing shoes as the rental shoes are only so-so. In addition to the auto belay system, there are some routes set up for lead climbing and standard belay. Final note is the beginning and intermediate/advanced walls are in separate sections so you can still climb when kids birthday parties are going on. Overall a great place to climb. A bit of a hidden gem among sport climbers.

We selected this location as our primary location on a Saturday night. Our family members were gathering tonight as a result of our visit to see them. When we walked into the facility, the front desk was not able to accommodate us for well over an hour and a half. Some of the kids went to feed the game machines and play the video games while we waited and called around for space. It seemed like a great place for our family night out, but this location was not able to make that work. I checked around the area and saw that the food area, video games area, the party area were all clean and orderly. There were many people in the facility at this time.

We had the best birthday party for our Lilly. Best birthday assistants, Hannah & Mandy. Glenn the manager was more than helpful and was always 2 steps ahead. Cannot thank Main Event enough for taking care of a 30 kid birthday. From serving the pizza to serving cake and coordinating the events. They are best!!

Great customer service, fantastic food and a great ambience. Everyone is very nice. Way better than Dave and Buster. The best deal is $18.95 per person !

Lots of fun and various activities, bowling, pool, mini golf , laser tag, video games and more. But 4 stars only because it's pricey. Video games from $1.50 min to $3 per game. $50 plus easy for one round of Bowling pricey. Add food and your pushing $100 easily. Especially with larger groups or family $$$$. Plus you add other activities laser tag, mini golf... all Fun but pricey. Unless you don't have other bills to pay, it's probably a not so frequent event.
