The more than 6,000 sq. ft. of climbing surface includes vertical and overhung terrain with bulges, roofs, aretes, and slabs with the most realistic crack anywhere. The creative, rock-like climbing structures, built by the Eldorado Wall Company are surrounded by a continuous safety pad.

Special walls in the gym are designated for parties, groups and lessons and the pro shop carries a full line of climbing equipment and apparel.

I did not realize how fun this can be for a birthday party. The kids had an absolute blast. They have multiple trainers here so that the kids are not waiting more than 10 minutes before their next turn. This is a great workout for kids. The staff are extremely friendly extremely helpful. Their classes are quite reasonable especially if you're combining two or three kids together in a single private lesson. for a single kid it is $45 for an hour for 2 kids it is $50 for an hour for 3 kids it then becomes $21 per kid per hour.

Garden State Rocks has been my second home for six years now. Climbing here has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and the community holds some of my favorite people in the entire world. It's a great place to go at the end of a stressful day to get a workout in and be surrounded by the most supportive community of climbers you'll every meet. This is my happy place and we all strive to have everyone feel comfortable and welcome when they come to climb. Nothing but love for GSR

Just went last night for the first time and I was primarily concerned that the place would be too small as many other people have mentioned, it is a bit small but the variety of bouldering and top roping routes really make up for it. I went bouldering and everything I mention is geared towards that. Downstairs they have in the center a bouldering wall packed of great climbs, and upstairs they have a small area with a whole bunch of climbs. The problems are great but the areas can get a bit tight and hot especially upstairs. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I heard people mention that some holds were broken or worn down - I haven't noticed any issues like that. Overall was a great experience and I'm definitely going to go back.

The staff is friendly and the routes are fun. I see both beginner and more advanced climbers having a good time here when I come.
