West Virginia University Student Recreation Center - Climbing Wall

Experience the thrill of rock climbing on our massive 50-foot climbing wall, the literal heart of the Center. Designed to replicate the unique beauty of West Virginia's outdoors, the wall features more than 2,000 interchangeable hand-holds attached to 3,500 square feet of simulated rock surface, which features face climbs, crack climbs, a small cave/roof, a pillar, overhangs, aretes, and many other small features. These features allow for a wide range of climbs, from beginner to advanced. There is also a bouldering cave with high angle climbing surfaces that will challenge even the most accomplished climbers. Climbers of all skill levels can challenge themselves, hone their skills, and keep in shape.
